In February 2025, the Saito Kinen Orchestra Brass Ensemble (SKO Brass), comprising the brass, timpani, and percussion sections of the Saito Kinen Orchestra, will embark on its third nationwide tour across 9 cities, marking their first in six years! The Saito Kinen Orchestra Brass Ensemble was formed in 2015 for the "Chamber Concert" at the Seiji Ozawa Matsumoto Festival. They have since conducted nationwide tours in 2017 and 2019, generating significant acclaim in each city. For this third national tour, 12 world-class musicians will come together, bringing a vibrant and varied program to your city. Experience the music of SKO Brass, renowned for its "orchestral-like, majestic, and brilliant sound"—an auditory experience not to be missed!

Gábor Tarkövi
Principal trumpet of the Berlin Philharmonic from 2004-2019, now a professor at the Berlin University of the Arts. Tarkövi is also a member of the Vienna-Berlin Brass Quintet and other ensembles.
Rainer Küblböck
Rainer Küblböck
After performing with the Linz Bruckner Orchestra and the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, Küblböck has been the solo trumpet player of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra since 1996.
Osamu Takahashi
Osamu Takahashi
First prize winner of the 65th Japan Music Competition and the 13th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition. Takahashi is the principal trumpet of the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, a visiting professor at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music, and a lecturer at Tokyo College of Music.
Takaya Hattori
Takaya Hattori
Principal trumpet of the New Japan Philharmonic from 1998 to 2019, currently an associate professor at Showa University of Music and principal guest performer with the Aichi Chamber Orchestra.
Radek Baborák
Radek Baborák
Former principal horn of the Czech Philharmonic, Munich Philharmonic, Bamberg Symphony, and Berlin Philharmonic. Baborák is now the Chief conductor of the West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra and the artistic director of the Czech Sinfonietta.
Yasushi Katsumata
Yasushi Katsumata
After performing with the New Japan Philharmonic, Katsumata became a member of the NHK Symphony Orchestra in 2006. He is a professor at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music and a part-time lecturer at both Tokyo College of Music and Tokyo University of the Arts.
Maro Abe
Maro Abe
Highest prize winner at the 17th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition and first prize at the 71st Japan Music Competition. Abe is a lecturer at Kunitachi College of Music and its affiliated high school.
Walter Voglmayr
Walter Voglmayr

Principal trombone of Wiener Symphony Orchestra and a guest professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. Voglmayr is also a member of the Ensemble Pro Brass.
Shinichi Go
Shinichi Go
Served as principal trombone of the Osaka Philharmonic for 20 years and is now an emeritus professor at Kyoto City University of Arts, as well as a guest professor at Osaka College of Music and Soai University.
Johann Ströcker
Johann Ströcker
Member of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and the Vienna State Opera Orchestra.
Peter B. Link
Peter Link
Began his career with the U.S. Army Band. Link was principal tuba of the Sendai Philharmonic and, since 2023, has been a tuba player with the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra.
Satoshi Takeshima
Satoshi Takeshima
Percussionist with the NHK Symphony Orchestra. Takeshima graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts and won second prize at the 13th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition.
