Deutsche Grammophon 125th Anniversary Special Gala Concert details have been announced!
The program details and ticket sales information of Deutsche Grammophon 125th Anniversary Special Gala Concert starring SKO with Mo. John Williams and Stéphane Denève have been announced!
The program will feature an array of film music by John Williams, such as selections from "Star Wars," "Harry Potter," and "E.T.," as well as "Sound the Bells!" dedicated to His Majesty the Emperor and Empress on their wedding day. This will be a special program dedicated to Seiji Ozawa, with whom John Williams has maintained a friendship since the 1980’s.
Regarding this Special Gala concert, John Williams commented: I’m greatly looking forward to returning to Japan for the first time since the early 1990’s and to performing in Suntory Hall again. Also, I’m very excited to visit with my dear friend Seiji Ozawa and to collaborate with his brilliant Saito Kinen Orchestra.
The first lottery for tickets will start tomorrow, June 30th, following by the second lottery held on July 19th. The general sales will begin on August 5th. For schedules and tickets details, please check the following website: https://eplus.jp/dg125/.
